I live to paint. Visiting colors in my mind and having them pop out with delight on canvas or décor installations, is satiating. Adorned in paint clothes practically 24/7, I consider myself a true self-made artiste. However, with the influences of a major in Painting & minor in Philosophy, along with unbroken family & friends’ encouragement, God-given talent, desire, music, travel, and never-ending energy, I lucked out. The liberty of expressing oneself with a plethora of brilliantly hued imagery is an intended infliction of thought provocations about what’s up, along with others' ideas, allows the simplicity to host an unquenchable desire to know & sketch more. Just as a tree planted with loving care, blossoms, and fruits, visions reside & flourish. 

My humanitarian works are graphic. Portrayed, merely to heal the less fortunate and open folk's minds to the deprivations, amongst us. There is way too much suffering in the world. We together can break bread, give it our all, and strive for a peaceful-contented-unanimous existence. I will forever, shall you? It is muy importante to allow your energy to wrap itself into positive vibes and be thankful to share the abundance of fruitful entities on our earth.

A native of So Cali, the world-renowned artist practically lives in paint clothes and artfully traipses around the globe, painting and exhibiting her divine God-inspired masterpieces for as long as she can remember. Dubbed a Sophisticate Primitive by the late Gino Hollander and his esposa, Barbara. The trio developed an endearing friendship for years. Gino, a master of over 13,000 paintings, spotted the young artist's brilliance due to her spontaneous energy and use of multiple colors to create a trickling ambiance of texture and depths, and the two critiqued one another's works daily. Pierson’ graduated from High School in 2 ½ years and followed with a Painting Major and Philosophy Minor at IVC, SBCC, and SDSU. At 15 years of age, she packed her beloved Rusty Red Karmann Ghia to the hilt and sauntered off to Santa Barbara to run her Brother Herbs Leather Shop and do the Cabrillo Art Shows with Sis-in-Law Judy Pierson. Galivanting throughout France and Italy with fellow creative souls at 19 years of age, the budding enterpriser sold a fresh piece right off the easel in Avignon to Denis and Yvonne Tate, affiliated with the original Tate Galleries. L’entrepreneur colore’ has taught public and private art classes throughout the United States.

As owner-acting contractor, the designer spearheaded several painting co-ops and building remodels. In 1995, she took a 24’ x 117’ warehouse and erected a two-story 15 Suite Mini Mall, complete with Multiple Art Studios, Beauty Salons, and French Doors & windows throughout, which she ran for 25 years. For a year in the early 2000s, La Femme Creative operated a closet-size Gallery in La Jolla.

After her adored mom Ginny Pierson's passing in 2005, she brought her Pop to her home and cared for him for 5 years until his peaceful demise. In 2015. Ms. Pierson’ purchased a Hundred & Eighteen-year-old home in Julian, California, which she embraced as an Inn for 6 years. Come 2020, her son Ricky needed 24/7 care due to advanced Schizophrenia, a compilation of head injuries, a Stroke, and a Heart Attack. Being a devoted Mom, she sold the Julian place and established a steady and loving existence at their El Centro Casa. Plans for a foundation, piersonhomes.org, to give el nino de mama’ & additional folks with SMI and other destabilizing disorders a forever home is now on the table. It will be funded through sales of canvases, volumes of My Painted Soul, and donations.

Over the years, Linda Pierson’ has lived and hatched studios in the States of California, New York, New Jersey, British Columbia, Washington, and Georgia. The Impressionist often connects with fellow artists, such as Charles Bibbs, The late Arso Ivanovich, The Late Cedella Marley Booker, and Derrick Simmons, amongst others—mom of two fabulous children, Ginny & Ricky, and Mimi to two beautiful Granddaughters. The visual & musing freedom of her panels and writings is often felt through her brush strokes and whimsical tales. The avant-garde's zealous desire to paint is frequently profuse. Pierson daubs on small to humongous canvases portraying colorful and passionate thoughts that deal with Humanitarian issues, which are incorporated into Island & Rural themes. She is also known for her Celebrity Portraits, peintures de fleurs, and Sailboats on The Water. Winning many 1st place awards, her work has been displayed at galleries, boutiques, and art shows in private and public locations

throughout the world.

One thing is for sure: The spicy entrepreneur will forever be innovative, which includes painting, writing, gardening, cooking, dancing, and devoted to her family and compadres forever!!
